Deposit and Cancellation   Due to the ever changing Covid 19 situation we currently do not require deposits or charge fees for cancelling single night bookings, however a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancelled reservations is appreciated Multi rooms and/or multi night bookings may be subject to a 15% deposit and 14 day cancellation notice Guests may be required to provide a valid Credit Card at time of booking Covid 19: If any level of government within Canada or any Canadian Health authority updates or changes any law regarding the ability to be open for business or your ability to travel, your reservation will be cancelled without any charge to you Payment All rates are in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes Rates are based on single or double occupancy We are currently accepting payment via etransfer to info@downeastcomfort.ca or payment by cash at check-in 2 night minimum booking may be required in high season   Check-in Check-in time is from 4pm to 6pm local time If a late evening check-in is required self check-in instructions will be provided If you require a late check-in please call 506-622-7259 or email info@downeastcomfort.ca to review the timing as to not disturb other guests    Check-out Check-out is the next morning before 11am local time   Parking One parking space per guest room is provided in the main driveway however we do not have parking available for large vehicles such as motor homes etc   Accessing the home and your room during your stay Once you have checked in you can use the provided front door code to access the residence   Each bedroom has a lock and key and you are provided keys to your room If you are returning past 11pm, please ensure you are as quiet as possible as other guests may be sleeping   All guest rooms are located on the second floor and require climbing stairs   Quiet hours This is an old home and has some squeaky floors among little noises and things adding to its charm, but we request that after 10pm during the week and 11pm on weekends that you respect quiet time to ensure all guests are able to rest and relax in our home   WiFi Free wifi will be provided to all guests unless there is an unexpected service interruption   Smoking To accommodate all guests we are smoke & vape free Candles and open flames For the safety and security of all guests, we do not allow the use of open flames such as candles etc   Pet To accommodate all guests, we are pet free   Housekeeping for multiple night stay For all multiple night stays we will provide fresh towels and bathroom amenities etc upon request but due to Covid 19 will not enter your room to clean and update or change bedding until after your stay   Non-Registered Guests Only registered guests are allowed into the B&B however if you need to make alternate arrangements due to a specific situation please contact us in advance of check-in   Special Menus and Needs Please notify us of any special dietary concerns or requests and we will do what we can to accommodate Menu options for your stay will be reviewed at check-in as our menu offer changes from time to time Breakfast served from 8-10am local time   Guest information  Due to the ever changing Covid 19 situation, Down East Comfort B&B will be collecting all guests’ names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and will provide to Health Officials as required or requested for any possible contact tracing   Note concerning Covid 19 We are monitoring the ever-changing concerns and are doing our part to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests.  This includes but not limited too increased cleaning of commonly touched surfaces, hand sanitizer throughout the common area and use of masks or face shields when we cannot maintain proper social distancing.
